CO₂ Prophet Water and
CO₂ Flood Prediction Software

The CO₂ Prophet Water and CO₂ Flood Prediction Software was originally developed by Texaco Exploration and Production Technology Department as part of the U.S. DOE Class I research project "Post Waterflood CO₂ Flood in a Light Oil, Fluvial Dominated Deltaic Reservoir" in the mid 1990s.  It is a relatively fast and simple screening tool and can be used to simulate the following:

             Waterflood
            Straight miscible CO₂ flood
            Miscible CO₂ WAG
            Immiscible CO₂ Flood

It has been recently patched and recompiled by Dr. S. M. (Sam) Avasthi, Avasthi & Associates, to run on 32-bit PCs operating Microsoft Windows XP.  (It can be used with Windows 98SE, NT and 2000 operating systems as well).  It has been made available to the public and can be downloaded below.  The U.S. DOE does not provide technical support for CO₂ Prophet.
