AOGA is a trade association established for fostering the long-term viability of the oil and gas industry in Alaska. Formed in 1989, as a separate entity, AOGA provides a forum for communication and cooperation with its members, with the public and with local, state and federal governments.

Petroleum Association (CIPA)
CIPA is a non-profit, non-partisan trade association representing 500+ independent crude oil and natural gas producers, service and supply companies operating in California. CIPA represents member interests before the state legislature, Congress and various federal, state and local regulatory agencies.

Association (COGA)
COGA is a non-profit industry trade association formed in 1984. Its mission is "to foster and promote the beneficial, efficient, responsible and environmentally sound development, production and use of Colorado oil and gas."

Eastern
Kansas Oil and Gas Association (EKOGA)
Eastern Kansas Oil & Gas Association was founded in 1957 by a group of
independent producers to promote the interests of oil and gas production in
Eastern Kansas. The purpose of the new organization is "to promote, further and
enhance the interests of all segments of the oil and gas industry, in Eastern
Kansas, including interests of royalty owners, and all other persons directly or
indirectly affected by such operations. To collect and disseminate information
affecting the welfare and activities of all the oil and gas industry in Eastern
Kansas..."
Florida Independent Petroleum Producers Association (FLIPPA)
FLIPPA is a not-for-profit professional
association dedicated to serving Florida's independent oil and gas exploration
and production industry. Established in 1988, FLIPPA provides industry and
legislative information and news to members, associated industry, and
local, state and federal legislative groups. Services to members include the
association newsletter, news bulletins and the annual FLIPPA conference.
Illinois Oil & Gas
Association (IOGA)
IOGA was founded in 1946 to promote the welfare of the Illinois Basin oil operators. The organization is composed of 450 companies whose livelihood is the oil business.

Independent Oil Producers Association Tri-State (IOPA)
IOPA Tri-State is the oil producer's connection with Washington DC. It represents the Tri-State area (Indiana, Illinois & Western Kentucky). At the national level, it closely monitors activities in Congress and the Federal government as they pertain to the small independent oil producer.

Organized in 1935, KIOGA represents a broad state-wide voice with the independent oil and gas operations and supporting industry throughout Kansas. It represents its members in state and national issues, legislation, tax, environmental, natural gas and crude oil issues.

KOGA is a membership organization formed in 1929 to protect and advance the interest of the oil and gas industry in Kentucky; oppose any unfair and unjust legislation which may adversely affect the industry; and, disseminate reliable information.
Louisiana Independent Oil
& Gas Association (LIOGA)
LIOGA was organized to represent the independent sector of the oil and gas industry in Louisiana. MIPRO is an association of independent producers, landowners, and royalty owners organized to unite and protect themselves against legislative or regulatory threats to their existence and to protect the rights of each owner in the production of oil and gas.
Michigan Oil and Gas
Association (MOGA)
MOGA represents the exploration, drilling, production, transportation, processing and storage of crude oil and natural gas in the State of Michigan. MOGA has over 1,000 members which include independent oil companies, major oil companies and the exploration arms of various utility companies.

The Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association of Oklahoma is a non-profit
association composed of oil and gas producers, operators, purchasers, pipelines,
transporters, processors and service companies which represent a substantial
sector of the oil and gas industry within the State of Oklahoma. The
Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association of Oklahoma is dedicated to the
advancement and improvement of the oil and gas industry within the State of
Oklahoma and throughout the United States.

The Montana Petroleum Association, Inc. is a voluntary, non-profit
trade association, whose members include oil and natural gas producers,
gathering and pipeline companies, petroleum refineries and service providers and

Association (NMOGA)
NMOGA was founded in 1929 to provide a collective forum through which the oil and gas industry can maintain involvement with New Mexico citizens and the political system. It provides a means for its members to work together effectively to avoid discriminatory, unfair, or unnecessary regulation or legislation harmful to the conduct of the oil and gas business in the state.
North Dakota
Petroleum Council
The North Dakota Petroleum Council is affiliated and supported by the
American Petroleum Institute
(API). The North Dakota Petroleum Council's purpose is to provide
governmental relations support to the oil and gas industry in North Dakota and
South Dakota.
Oklahoma Independent Petroleum
Association (OIPA)
OIPA provides governmental representation, as well as other oil and gas informational services, to the Oklahoma independent energy producing sector. It is a recognized leader in oil and gas advocacy, public education and technology dissemination.
Ohio Oil and Gas Association
(OOGA)
OOGA was formed in 1947 to protect, promote, foster and advance the common interests of those engaged in the oil and gas industry; to protect the industry against unfair and burdensome regulations and taxation; to collect and disseminate pertinent data; to promote better operating practices and improved producing methods; and to conserve oil and gas and prevent the waste thereof.
Oklahoma Marginal
Well Commission (MWC)
The MWC was created by the Oklahoma Legislature in 1992 with mandates to help Oklahoma oil and gas producers in the management of their marginally producing oil and gas wells. The MWC works though a variety of programs to extend the productive life of stripper wells.
Petroleum Association of Wyoming (PAW )
PAW is Wyoming's largest and oldest petroleum industry trade association,
dedicated to the betterment of the state's oil and gas industry and public
welfare. PAW members account for approximately ninety percent of the natural gas
and two-thirds of the crude oil produced in Wyoming.
Permian Basin Petroleum
Association (PBPA)
PBPA is a regional oil and gas trade association - representing the Permian Basin industry which produces 64% of the Texas oil production and 20% of oil production in the lower 48 states. It lobbies for 1200 industry members both at the state and federal level.
Public Lands Advocacy (PLA)
Public Lands Advocacy's (PLA®) mission is to continue the public land access
advocacy work begun by the Rocky Mountain Oil and Gas Association's (RMOGA)
Public Lands/Exploration and Production Committee. PLA is comprised of major and
independent producers, professional corporations, and industry trade/ and
professional associations.
Pennsylvania Oil & Gas Association (POGA)
POGA's purpose is to promote the economic health and general welfare of Pennsylvania's crude oil and natural gas extraction industry.

Royalty Owners' Association (PPROA)
PPROA is a trade association representing the oil and gas producers, service companies, and royalty owners in the Texas Panhandle, Eastern New Mexico, the Oklahoma Panhandle and Southwestern Kansas.
Southeastern Ohio Oil & Gas Association (SOOGA)
Southeastern Ohio Oil and Gas Association (SOOGA) is a non-profit organization
comprised of local producers and businesses involved in the oil and gas
industry. Established in 1978, by local producers, SOOGA established a voice to
address issues and concerns unique to the geographic area of the Mid-Ohio River
Valley.
Southwest Kansas Royalty Owners Association (SWKROA)
Members of the Association are owners of mineral interests and of royalty
payable to them as oil and gas lessors. The stated purpose of the Association is
"to foster, protect and further in all respects the rights and interests of the
mineral owners" and promote the common business interests of such members.
Funding comes only from membership dues and voluntary contributions to the
Association.
Texas Alliance of Energy
Producers
The Alliance resulted from a merger of the North Texas Oil and Gas Association
and West Central Texas Oil and Gas Association. With offices in Wichita Falls,
Abilene, Austin and Fort Worth, the Alliance is well poised to serve its more
than 1,700 members. Alliance staff are geared to getting results with the state
legislature, with the Texas Railroad Commission and in Washington. Members also
benefit from the many benefit/insurance plans.

Founded in 1946, TIPRO is the largest statewide organization representing independent oil and gas producers and royalty owners. TIPRO concentrates its efforts in government relations, public communications and business services. TIPRO also hosts an online information system for the oil and gas industry, The Energy Connection.
Tennessee Oil & Gas
Association (TOGA)
The Tennessee Oil & Gas Association (TOGA) is a non-profit organization of people involved in the exploration, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in Tennessee.
Texas Oil & Gas Association (TXOGA)
Texas Oil & Gas Association is the petroleum trade association in Texas which
unites the Texas oil and gas industry to work for a common good. Founded in
1919, it is the oldest and largest organization in the state representing
petroleum interests and continues to serve as the only organization in the state
which embraces all segments of this industry.
U.S. Oil and Gas
Association (USOGA)
US Oil & Gas Association provides the industry with representation in
legislative, regulatory and public affairs, and serves as a resource on
technical matters. The association is an effective advocate for the growth and
protection of the energy industry in Alabama, Mississippi and adjacent federal
and state offshore areas. The Alabama/Mississippi Division is one of four
autonomous divisions affiliated with the US Oil & Gas Association in Washington,
D. C. The other divisions are in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.
Utah Petroleum
Association (UPA)
UPA is a voluntary, non-profit business trade association representing
companies involved in all aspects of Utah's oil and gas industry. UPA speaks
for the petroleum industry in Utah on issues important to their business. They
seek to inform policymakers and the public how our industry helps improve their
lives, strengthen the economy, protect the environment and promote national
security.

WIPA is a non-profit, non-partisan, trade association representing the interests of oil and gas producers and service vendors doing business
within the state of Wyoming.
Western States Petroleum
Association (WSPA)
WSPA is a non-profit trade association that represents the bulk of petroleum exploration, production, refining, transportation and marketing in the six western states of Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. Founded in 1907, WSPA is dedicated to ensuring reliable access to petroleum through policies that are socially, economically and environmentally responsible.
West Virginia Oil and Natural
Gas Association (WVONGA)
Formed in 1915, WVONGA is the only trade association in West Virginia that serves the entire oil and natural gas industry, including exploration, production, transmission, storage, sales and distribution. It is involved in a broad range of economic, environmental, legal and regulatory issues.
