Hughes Christensen R&D Facility

Staying just ahead of the drill bit at the Hughes Christensen Headquarters office in Houston is Elena Melchert, Petroleum Engineer at DOE Headquarters. Safely stepping out of the way of two tricone bits are Logan Walters, Chief Policy Advisor to the Undersecretary in Washington and Don Duttlinger, Executive Director of PTTC. It was astonishing to review the magnitude of investment and expertise needed to bring technology in drill bits to the present stage. Bits now drill deeper formations in faster times than ever before. Our thanks to the entire Hughes Christensen staff for the informative tour of this world class R&D facility.
