America?
Trivia Answer: The Hugoton Field in Hugoton Kansas. The field was first discovered
in 1922 and was believed to be of no value because there was no oil
found. In 1927 a producing gas well was drilled just southwest of
the Hugoton. Today, approximately 11,000 wells in the Kansas Hugoton
area produce gas and oil. (Wikipedia)
